ICONTEC is a Colombian multinational concerned about sustainable development of organizations in the continent that works since 1963 to promote standardization, conformity assessment, metrology and quality management in Colombia, Central America and South America.
As National Standardization Body, we represents Colombia before international and regional standardization bodies such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and the Pan American Standards Commission (Comisión Panamericana de Normas de la Cuenca del Pacífico - COPANT).
We are also an active member of the most important regional and international standardization bodies, which allows the organization to participate in the definition and development of international and regional standards.
ICONTEC is a certification body with global coverage thanks to its link with the International Certification Network, IQNet (global network which include the most important certification bodies).
